Art Studio (7+)
Our popular Art Studio offers a variety of themes and techniques in order to improve one’s own creativity. During this class, students will learn the building blocks of sketching and move into acrylics. Instructors will work closely with students and tailor level-specific projects for each student. They will learn to use art as a language by bringing along a better appreciation and knowledge of classical music and visual arts.

This introductory course to Print-Making will focus on lino, mono and silkscreen prints. Students will get a chance to explore the process of print-making by using professional non-toxic materials and creating one-of-a-kind pieces and works!

Young Artist Studio (3-6)
The Young Artist Studio is designed to provide a personalized and multi disciplinary experience to young artists. The idea is to ignite creativity and help develop motor skills through the use of acrylics, mixed media, sand art, sketching and much more. Students will be introduced to the world of art, art history and it’s appreciation.

This course will invite students to explore human drawing and character creation. Students of any ability will learn to develop their narrative and graphic abilities through the basics of drawing.

Painting Studio (Adults)
Tuesday and Thursday 9:30am – 2:00pm
This course will explore creative expression using paper – magazine cut-outs and stained papers, among others, adhered on a variety of surfaces. Collage provides playful, versatile, challenging, and unlimited creativity. Each participant will be encouraged to express their own unique concepts and style of expression. Each class will begin with a short art theory review, such as colour systems, composition and value patterning and include different hands-on exercises.

Sculpture: Creativity in three dimensions
This course is designed to introduce students to the techniques and traditions of sculpture.
We will focus on small sculptures and figurines; through which the students will learn basics of creating wire frames, modelling three dimensional figures, creating textured surfaces, and making preparatory sketches.
The goal is to develop the skills of imagining and creating in three dimensions.
Participants will also learn about mold making and bas-relief.
The course will include exercises to learn the materials and techniques, and will include plenty of time and support for people to make their own projects
